I'm Jess, Childrenswear Designer and the face behind My Little Thistle!

Having studied a Foundation Diploma in Fashion Design I went on to complete a BA (Honours) Fashion Design Degree at Birmingham City University. I began making childrenswear for family and friends and from there the idea for My Little Thistle was born; inspired by my experiences of tradition, family, memories of my own childhood, the colours, textures and visions I see and feel when I am reminded of growing up.

My studio is based where I live in Wishaw, a rural area of Birmingham. It is my cocoon of loveliness and where all my ideas come to life!

My Little Thistle's Design Ethos is to create easy-wearing and timeless clothing for your little ones; quality pieces that can

be passed down the generations and be treasured for the

nostalgic memories they hold. Each garment is exclusively

designed and pattern cut before being made by hand.
